おれも一つ。 
学生の頃の話し。 
貧乏学生だった俺は風呂なしアパートに住んでいた。 
3日に1回位かな？銭湯に行けたの。 
まぁ、いつものように風呂道具一式を持っていつもの風呂屋に向かったんだ。 
番台のババァと挨拶をかわし脱衣室で服を脱ぎ風呂に入って隅々まで身体を洗った。 
日頃の疲れをサウナで癒して脱衣室に戻り服を着ている時に番台のババァが声をかけて来た

ババァ『検診に行った方が良いよ、あんたの身体を見てたら死んで行った人の体型と似てるからね。まぁ、若いから大丈夫だと思うけど。』 
笑いながら若いから大丈夫ですよー！ 
と言いながらも死との言葉に不安を覚えて病院に行ったら早期の乳癌だと検診された。 
20で乳癌は珍しく早期で発見出来なかったらやばかったらしい。 
その話を母親にしたらババァにはお礼に行きなさい、と言われ入院を終え実家から餅を買って銭湯に向かった。 
早期の乳がんが見つかり入院していた事を伝えたらババァは涙して喜んでくれた。 
『皆死んで行ってあんたも死んだのかと思ったよと』手を合わせながら声に鳴らない嗚咽で拝みながら何か喋っていた。 

ババァありがとな！あんたのお陰で今は二児の母親だよ！
